Position Summary: The Web Content Editor will be responsible for the overall content development strategy, the aggregation, and editing of content across all Cunet websites. This position will play a significant role selecting and deploying a content management system, influencing the architecture and design of the system and managing content deployment to Cunet websites.
Principal Responsibilities:
The Web Content Editor will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing content strategies across all media channels and sites to support all online marketing initiates
Will develop and manage a content strategy to extend the online brand across all media channels and all current as well as future websites focusing on audience needs, content value and usability throughout the online content creation process
Web Content Editor is relied upon to ensure the accuracy and consistency of style, text, and best practices across promotional pieces
Will proofread and edits text for style and accuracy, focusing upon consistency, spelling and punctuation, and appropriate look and feel."
Web Content Editor will leverage from knowledge and experience with content management systems such as Sitecore and knowledge of basic coding HTML including understanding capabilities and constraints
The candidate must have excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and resources in a deadline-driven environment
The candidate must leverage knowledge and experience from project to project, ensuring that work is aligned with content strategy and Cunet standards, while providing valuable insights and analysis around program performance
Candidate must have a collaborative work style, thrive on accountability, and be an excellent manager of resources in writing for the web specifically

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in communications, interactive media or related field is preferred
Minimum of one or two years experience is required
Key Skills, Qualifications and Traits (E=Essential, P=Preferred)
E-Must have a solid understanding of current industry standards and techniques for digital content management
E- Minimum of one - two years experience at a dedicated Internet Marketing/Publishing company or as an in-house Content Agency experience preferred
E- Must have a solid understanding of current industry standards and techniques for digital content management
E- Must have a strong understanding of informal web writing style
E- Must ensures that content is focused and consistent in style, format and quality
E- Detail oriented/organized with proficient writing/editing skills
E- Able to work independently in a deadline-sensitive and fast-paced environment
E-Ability to multi-task and handle other duties as assigned
P- Ability to apply strict attention to detail (grammar, spelling, punctuation, style/editorial guidelines), strong communication/problem-solving skills as well as leverage prior experience in an education communications editing, publishing ad agency, or other similar setting, preferably Web based
P- Proficiency in all MS Office products
